Hessian is a woven fabric used for its eco-friendly nature due to being made from plant based materials. Usually seen as a bag making material, hessian is very hardy and makes for a perfect menu covering material. The natural elements of the material gives off an elegant, yet organic style.
Buckram is a cloth made from cotton which is soaked in a substance to fill the gaps in the fibre to make it water resistant. Used as a bookbinding material for hundreds of years, buckram is one of the more hard wearing materials available for this application. The resulting menu cover is a polished looking cover which is available in many different colours for effect.
Denim is also a cotton textile, however, it is threaded and dyed differently which gives denim its classic look. Seen in clothing, we all know that denim is a very hard wearing material that has been shown to last, even with daily use, for many years. The result is a familiar look with an unusual application - create a classic or interesting look depending on your choice of the fade and colour of the denim.
Pellaq is made from a scratch resistant, gloss coated paper made from sustainable forestry. Seen on different types of stationery and packaging, it is used for its striking effect and fashion appeal. Pellaq offers something for those who want something different, yet maintain a quality look.
Shadow is another coated paper, this time with a soft touch and matte finish. Shadow also offers a fashionable style and is used in luxury packaging and stationery items. Because Shadow is thermo-reactive, when your logo is stamped in to it, the colour changes slightly, leaving behind a brilliant visual effect. The resulting effect is a striking bright menu which is available with different textured effects.
Forest is a textured polyurethane (PU) material which has a matte finish. Forest also has a thermo-reactive nature to it, so debossing your logo looks fantastic. This material is used in stationery items and packaging, however, it is not often seen, so can be used to great effect as the centrepiece of your table. A traditional looking menu cover results from using the forest material which has a unique texture and a great feel.
